New to antiques and to the forum

    Hello,

    just a quick hello from me

    I have always had an interest (at least aesthetically) in old things (antique, vintage, retro or whatever it may be called) but have recently wanted to know a bit more about what I'm looking at and the history or the item or piece. Google led me here and I look forward to learning more

    It was the recent acquisition of 2 Ercol chairs that led me here today and I have posted a query about these in the furniture section

    So, hello and thanks for having me :)
