New to the forum

    Hi everyone,

    I am new to the forum and have a question about an item. It's a lamp, an older lamp obviously I will post a picture. Can anyone tell me what this is?

    Hi!
    It looks like an alabaster lamp. Made in Italy, I think. Some are vintage/old, but a Google search, it looks like there are alot of new ones, too.

    I think the carved leaves are acanthus.

    Yep .... Italian alabaster. Based on the socket, maybe 1960s.

    Nice, it looks a bit older because of the socket. How does one find the value of such a thing?
