Nice hammered metal box. Anyone recognise the crest please?

Well made, bit of age. I can't find the crest!

 

No idea, but odds on it held ciggies or cigars at some point.

 

Nice looking box. Maybe it’s not a official/formal crest,but rather just someone’s initials dressed-up in
in the form of a crest? To personalise the box as a handmade gift perhaps?

 

Agreed. Don’t know how big it is. But looks like a personalised cigar box.

 

It's a cedar lining, so cigars would make sense. Really nice quality too. Three crowns and a wreath ought to mean something....!

Corporate initials is my guess. They probably had them made as gifts for clients or some such; I can't see this sort of casting being done for one person. Not in copper, and probably not silver either.
