Hey y'all! I recently purchased several pieces of flatware marked Nickel Silver. Which I believe is pretty much the same as silverplate? I'm not having much luck in figuring out who this hallmark belongs to nor the pattern. The hallmark appears to be an S on top of a T of vice versa. I haven't taken the time to clean them up as of yet Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    CuNi is not silverplate.

Ditto. Nickel silver (CuNi) is a silvertone cupreous metal, so the colour of silver, but no silver content or plating.

Silverplate is base metal with a coating of real silver. There are different plating techniques, but these are the basic differences.:)

    Is THIS the same pattern?
It's unidentified by the replacements website and the one they list is silverplate made in Mexico, not nickel silver.
Their photo is really bad but you have the item in hand and can compare best.

Thank you. I did use the image search on replacements but didn't see one exactly the same. There are some slight differences in the Chateau Rose. Mostly on the very tip of the handle. The same with Essex. Subtle differences. I appreciate you looking. Might be another one of those snowball chance in h*ll of finding info about :banghead:

Ever so slight differences :banghead: Most noticeably on the very tip of handle and the lines in the "daisy" Untitled design.jpg
