hand painted. The glit gold comes off very easily from clear tape adhesive. I think it’s too fine of work to be a latter Japanese reproduction. Seems to be pre 1850 to me. What you guys think. 80A05272-BDE2-4CB6-8D32-7E30D3EF986E.jpeg 76E5782C-1CA3-430B-81B9-544AD298A85A.jpeg EC1DC426-6320-4E6A-B931-2C9D802A69F5.jpeg A161872D-95F0-499E-80B8-54772C64F8C8.jpeg 885FB1D7-105B-49CA-A286-659DE48FCC4F.jpeg A771E91A-2FCC-4029-977B-F78F0780F453.jpeg

We need to see the bottom of each piece, even if there are no marks.

You can find a similar colour in my cupboard, on second hand coffee cups. The colour is pretty generic, you have to look at other details and the combination thereof.

The handle shape is usually one of the best clues, as well as how the gilding is done. I'll see if I can find a handle shape reference.

I'd also like to see better photos showing the handle shape.
