Happy New Year to my potty friends. I have a couple of things I would like assistance with. The first is this set of Noritake baskets. The large one measures 5 1/2" tall and 7"wide. The little ones are 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/4"wide. What were these made for, salt, sauces, something else? I did find a set on ebay with 4 little baskets and a ladle but no mention of the purpose. Thank you for any and all help. I will create a second thread for my other pieces.

I would guess individual nut dishes. There are quite a few on the worthpoint site, but it's not a reference.

    Pretty set @lvetterli
That mark was registered In 1918, and used until the 1940s.

I vote for nut dish set also. If there was a ladle, that's to keep hands out of the master nut bowl. It's lovely.
