It is a lovely Indian mango necklace, probably silver, could be low grade. It is called mango after the mango shapes.;)
The mango is a symbol of prosperity and happiness.

    Hi,
I thought as I was reading the description it looked like a lot of Indian necklaces I saw in Iselin NJ (little India). The mangos reminded me of Paisley prints.

Hah. Greg, I'd not made that connection on the Paisley motifs, but you're spot on. I've a Victorian Paisley shawl somewhere, I must find it.
