This Northwood (edited INH help) piece has a metal pour top that is missing its cover. It is an odd squarish shape with a cranberry and frosted interior. It is 4 inches tall and has a bottom that is 3 inches square. I can't figure out its purpose to research anything about it. It doesn't make sense as a creamer, as the cream would be exposed to the light. But I don't know what would be poured from a smallish container like this. I'm sure you all will know. Any help will be appreciated.

That would be terrific. It would be nice to know from and expert rather than sellers.

Just a thought... Could it be for holding oil or paraffin in order to fill the glass reservoir of an oil lamp?
