Not American Brilliant Period - Any other ideas

    I posted this on the Facebook ABP site and was shot down immediately. But I learned to watch for the squared off rim teeth. The suggestion there was contemporary German. Does anyone have any other ideas for me about where it came from and when? It is quite pretty, very heavy, and it is 8 1/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches tall.
