Not Sure on this Signature

    I cant figure out this signature..
    Is it a G or a C as the first letter?

    Is the last name Costa? Co **ta? Co*ta?
    What do yall think?

    I think thats because its a decorator type painting. Very simplistic,probably from the 50s.
