    Took a few pics from Bargain Hunt on TV today. Nottingham Trent University have a stash of 73k pieces of lace. Here’s a few pieces some from William Hallam Pegg who put in socialist motifs into his designs. @Northern Lights Lodge

    Hi @Houseful ! Aren't those amazing!? I have seen them before. It is nice to see them again! I know that, oddly enough, war time images did show up in laces...
    but it is more of a 20th century phenom than with much older pieces.

    I thought you would have already seen these Leslie as 73k is a lot of pieces to have! I believe a lot of the other pieces they have are 18th and 19th century.

    @Houseful - I expect I've not seen close to the 73k but, I was aware of the collection. Strikes me that they were on exhibit somewhere maybe in the 80's and there was a big story on them in the International Old Lacers magazine...
