I'm out for a while. As some know, I've a mess in real life. Don't need more.

 

I'm not always in the mood - or have the time - to faff about with pleasantries here. Sometimes I just stick to the point when I answer an inquiry or join in a conversation... which I think can sometimes "sound" rude. I try to keep that in mind when I read someone else's words that may come off as rude... that it's not always how it's meant.
As for religious/political/antique-disagreement train wreck threads, I usually don't even read them. But, once in a while I do... and once in a while I feel I have an opinion that must be expressed, so I express it... then whomever else may have their say but I don't re-engage. I keep in mind that everyone is entitled to their opinions and I've had my turn.
Cheryl and AJ will be sorely missed.

I never thought you oversensitive, too. although we might have had "fights" in the past which I even can't remember. but that's me - or my Italian side - speedily furious but also calming down rather fast.

@Bear, you're making imo what more people should do; sort out your private life and then up at it with new force.
