Featured Numbered Blue Art Glass Vase

    I guess this is opaline glass? it's transparent, just under 7" tall. It has a slightly concave ground and polished pontil and is numbered, though I can't decipher all the letters/numbers. There's a good amount of shelf wear on the bottom edge.

    I'd love your thoughts on the age, maker, and if you can decipher the letters/numbers on the bottom.

    The 7 is European style so I would look there

    I think it would be described as translucent rather than transparent :)

    Yes, definitely European I would think. I can read the numbers fairly well, just wondering about the beginning letter(s). Sort of reminds me of the way Orrefors, Boda, etc do their numbering, though I'm not getting a Scandinavian feel from this piece. But maybe I'm wrong.

    Bingo! Found a couple on (outrageously priced) 1stdibs. One sold, one currently on sale marked down from $700 to $490. Thank you I need help!
