A friend of mine asked you all for some help in figuring out how much to ask when selling this Oak Dresser with a framed, beveled glass mirror and spindles holding the mirror and matching spindles on the legs. I told him that the members do not give values or appraisals, but you could help in determining the possible age and style, and I could look up recent sale prices. I asked him for some photos. The dresser has no marker's marks. It is 5 foot tall, 3 foot 6 inches long and 1' 6" wide. The back has slats. Would you please help my friend with some comments.

Agrees, down being the keyword there.
Not my area of interest so wait for others on the value but generally speaking, not a good market at the moment.

@komokwa Great job in identifying this dresser. Looks like your original evaluation has been confirmed. My friend is very happy. He didn't think it was so old. Nor that it was English. Thank you very much!

I very much appreciate your looking at this dresser. My friend has a houseful of antiques but not much detailed information on them. He was very pleased to get your confirmation

I'm in the UK, we see these a fair bit. Yes, English and oak. Edwardian. Very useful, very well made, but they don't sell for much here, which is sad.

Can you pass on that if he upcycles it or paints it, I'll hunt him down and haunt him. ;)
