Odd Old looking Triangular Box? Need Help...

    Hello, I found this box among my fathers belongings and I am looking for an appraisal and possibly an identification. It is a triangular box with a seam but I cant seem to get it open, that is, IF it opens. It says "The Pinnacle Circle, 2020-2030" on one side. I assumed those were for the year but this looks old and rusty. Might any of you have any idea what this is or what it is worth? I don't want to throw away anything of value. I have attached some photos.

    Looks like each side is 11" and the whole thing is about 2.5" thick.
