    It's costume of course.

What do we make of this one? Photos are a bit off, the light was rubbish.

Aha! I knew it looked familiar, I've watched a LOT of NCIS. ;)

Marine rose makes sense too. Many thanks!

It's a Vietnam-era, best guess, sweetheart/mama brooch. The metal rose itself was everywhere and someone got bright and added the globe and anchor.

I’ve found a couple online which claim they’re sarah Coventry, but they’re not marked and nor is this one. It does look sixties.

I don't think they were ever marked, or ever Sarah Coventry. Coro made some I think. Those names wouldn't help values one bit, but we'll let the Google Lens crowd find out the hard way.

My mother adored Sarah Coventry . Unfortunately when we were robbed her jewelry box went out the door, along with mine. :(

My husband's Seabee unit has had jewelry made with the 'Bee on it. It may have been a retired group of Marines that had sweetheart jewelry made for wives and girlfriends. I have 'Bee earrings, pins, etc.

Isn’t it odd how things travel. This was a table top sale in Windsor!

Somebody's kid moved to Blighty? Or bought it in a box lot from the USA and didn't know what it was. Jewelry moves around.

I have something from both of my kids, and my husbands unit, and from an aunt from her husband. 3 Army & 1 Navy.

I didn't inherit much, but have been known to make off with WWII Victory pins.
