.....I never expected to see ‘Sewerage Bureau Tokyo’!
All google gives me is the expected poo related results.....
It’s c1.5cm diameter and I haven’t looked closely at the glass yet as I’m out and haven’t got the right glasses!
Anyone any ideas I’d be intrigued to hear them.
    Thankyou :)

I certainly never expected to see it on the back of a piece of jewellery, in English.

You don't suppose that brown is from a Tokyo sewer?

That I hadn’t considered! Maybe a tourist souvenir to remind you of your visit to the Tokyo Sewerage gift shop :hilarious:

I had to buy it for 50p because I couldn’t quite believe my eyes.

It might be recycled from what was swallowed and passed :D

Or it was washed down the storm drain.

Had a look under a loupe and it looks like blue glass with quite slot of bubbles with a browner area towards the centre  .I don't know, maybe it's better if it holds onto its secrets!

The museum's site says part of their mission is to emphasize the importance of clean water, so maybe blue glass with bubbles is about water. The brown part we won't discuss.
