Featured Oh boy! More art with difficult signatures!!!

I absolutely LOVE these couple of paintings of depicting a clown fish and a Royal Tang. I have a couple of each in my 150 g salt tank! Any way, the signature is stumping me.

 

They are fantastic!!!

 

Cannot decipher it either, but they are gorgeous!

 

I'm getting fish paintings in reaction to Fercodini, but that's not what this name looks like.

Are they painted on Luan plywood (very thin plywood)? That would suggest South East Asian decorative objects.

the other signature isn't as clear. They are painted on canvas - nothing verso.

Fecudeedieiz...cant be... but that's how I see it.

 

I saw diaz at the end because maybe that second dot is just a paint blob and not the dot over an i. Fecudu...Fecudee...Ferudu?

 

I saw that too, Bev, but got stuck on the little dot. I do think diaz is a possibility.

 

I have tried so many different name combo's but I believe it is diaz or diez. Someone pointed out that it could be an umlaut over the U at the end (double dot) to emphasize the vowel sound - perhaps German? The family I am working with was Greek.

 

Oh lucky you! They are amazing! Especially the clown fish! I’m not helpful with the signature but love the art!
