I have an oil on board that Reggie Kray painted in prison. Along with the painting is a document to confirm he asked it to be released and the prison allowing him to do that. Does anyone know where would be best to sell something like this? Thanks in advance

Think the paintings often have a Prison stamp on the back of them, the ones I saw sold at Auction did.

Still lots of East End people around who knew the Krays, so maybe a London Auction house would be someone you could approach for guidance.

hey, thanks for your info. The painting I have is definitely very amateur and the prison document it comes with is the provenance, I hope. Haha.

I've heard of "outsider" art but that's truly "insider" art!
