I found this in a album of sports cards - it's got a photo of a young OJ Simpson on the front & on the top left it has the words Universal Software Alternatives Presents OJ "The Juice" Trivia And across from that top right it has 666 Collector's Edition The back is blank except for a stamped APPROVED I can't find anything on this card, trivia game or even Universal Software Alternatives? Was it a video game software company? Is the card worth anything? (I think the company putting 666 on a OJ card is collectible on it's own!) PS - Whoever had it first put it in a protective lucite type case that belonged to something else - so they must have thought it rare enough to remove the first card to protect this one? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
The age of OJ doesn't exactly match up with the era of the knife portrayed. Other than that I can only say he is a POS & I'd burn that darn card.
I doubt it would appeal to football card collectors as it's obviously an unlicensed/bootleg type thing. Searching for the company name led to this post: https://boards.3drealms.com/t/universal-software-alternatives-published-boxes/794 Looking up "Universal Shareware Alternatives" turned up a few order forms. It seems they distributed other companies software/shareware and were based in Canada. It's probably uncommon, but finding a market for it will be tough.
It is a disgusting attempt to deceive - "collector's edition", "666", showing a knife to indicate what it was used for, a very young picture of him for AND a disrespectful usage of the American flag.
