My girlfriend thinks the yellow stone might be a diamond, I hope she’s right.
When I see it closeup (magnified ), I see tiny little bumps on brass.

    Thank You
    Billy D.

    Hi Billy :joyful:
    Certainly not a diamond, sorry...:(
    A citrine or glass simulant...
The pearls look like river pearls!
    Era is around 1910 IMHO:)
The green color is verdigris, an oxydation, must be removed!
Be careful with the pearls if you use anything acid on it!!!

Agree on about 1910 as the date, Czech and probably glass, maybe citrine. I think someone added the pearls. I'd cover them with a bit of masking tape, then get cotton buds and brown sauce on that brass. I rather like the oxidised look, but it will cause damage.

Very nice bangle, Billy. I agree with ca 1910 and probably glass.
So do I, but agree it will have to be cleaned.

There is some value there, Billy, but nothing like diamond value, sorry. It is a good design from a good period.

Hi any jewelry, do you know what the design is called?

Hi Billy.:) It is an Art Nouveau knotwork motif, and the back is hammered like on Arts & Crafts jewellery. Both art movements were popular ca 1910, and were often combined.

Tomato ketchup also works. ;) It's the gloopiness that helps.

Yes, Art Nouveau and very nice too.

Gloopiness - Check. I'm sure there is ketchup somewhere where I live. I will search next time I go to the store.

Just look for HP sauce, stores generally have that. (at least in Canada)

Any thick sauce with vinegar will do the trick. Just don't mung up the pearls in the process. If you get something that also tastes good (which leaves out ketchup) so much the better.

Mm, that's why I recommend using a bit of masking tape on the pearls.

There is a Facebook group restore repair repurpose vintage jewellery. They have some excellent files on cleaning jewellery. I do have to put on my grown up behaviour over there though as they are very serious and you are absolutely not allowed off topic or you get a slap. Good site though with generous people who have sent me a few gems when I needed to repair.
