Picked these up from an estate sale of a very old house. The only other place I have ever seen tops on candles was at church. Plus the bottoms have something metal? melted in. can1.JPG can2.JPG can3.JPG can4.JPG can5.JPG

    Hi,
The tops are called "followers" and they keep the candles from dripping and make them last longer. They come in glass, brass and silver. I buy them for my candles. They are expensive on the retail market. They should polish up beautifully.
