Old but how old ?

Hi females and blokes (folks)

this was added to my keep and look into section, rather than sale pile.
It was part of a frenzied boot sale post so prob only had a pic or two.

things like these never seem to command much money unfortunately......but thats not really the point is it........its gotta be the earliest chinese/asian piece of pottery i've ever found......and for a pound at a boot

Looks Thai to me, and yes, pretty old, contemporary with our Middle Ages.

Unglazed utilitarian pottery together also looks good. Sometimes it is the general look and feel rather than the origin that makes a nice grouping.

 

very true......at the moment its a bit like a game of crazy chess and always on the move

but i might concentrate on a fine top shelf

its gotta (the whole thing) either be sparsely done or complete madness......don't know if theres a middle ground

 

but the good thing (and major thing) is that everything now is gettoable, nothing hid behind other things in places i can't reach
