First, you can have up to 10 pics in a thread, an' many pics are better...then, when you add pics to a thread, click on the top of their list where it says "Full Image"...we will all have a much better understanding of what you're showing us, an' how to help. Good luck!

While I don't know anything about Clignancourt other than a quick Google. (which I believe shows their windmill mark to be 18th C. Perhaps there is more to it than that.)

I'm thinking yours looks very much like a Chinese modern-ish piece. Hope I'm wrong.

You are not wrong. One of the multitude of fakes/imitations coming out of China/Southeast Asia. The uniform over-all crazing which has been artificially darkened gives it away. The mark looks like an imitation of Clingincourt which would be wrong for an item that resembles a 19th c British covered cheese dish. However, welcome to Antiquers, and the photos are great!

Agree with modern-ish, likely Made in China imitation. That all-over crazing/crackling is a dead giveaway. Nevertheless, a nice decorative piece, though with minimal value.

It's a Hines Bros Heron Cross cheese dish, circa 1889. Pretty! One is for sale on eBay and Ruby Lane (same photos so same seller) for $125 but that's just an asking price. :)

It is pretty, and for the right market I think it might make that, I did a listing on eBay for another piece from my mums house, I made the mistake of starting bidding at .99p and some bought it for ... .99p (sigh) you live and learn but I guess it went to someone who valued it :)
