Featured Old cross cornered wooden mirror

    Does anyone have an approx age of this smallish mirror I found today, think it's sort of arts and crafts but not sure

    Late Victorian ca. 1890. The look comes from the strain of rusticity found in some very late 19th century items such as furniture in hunting lodges. It was also particularly prominent in mirrors such as yours.

    I think of Black Forest being a little more ornate. This looks more like an early Arts & Crafts piece.

    Early 20th C British Arts and Crafts. I like that. I've seen hall stands with similar motifs.

    I thought Tramp Art when I first saw it but now on with Bev, Brad, and OBB.
    I think I have at least one of these frames.
