This is an old cut glass bottle with a flat side on the top rim. Seems a little bit unusual and I was wondering if anyone new anything about this type of bottle, how old it might be and what it was used for. Thanks in advance for all information and replies.

Thanks komokwa for the reply. Yes, I was guessing it could be part of a cruet set or something else. I was more curious about the longer flat sided top rim area and the purpose of it if any and the age of it, etc...
