I know folks collect this stuff, but this one is a little soft on the edges and has been folded with tears along the folds. Worth listing? I was thinking of just framing it.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Major looks to have been a lucky and beloved doggie. I think I'd post it in hopes of finding another Major-owner. I found an ELEANOR for my ELEANOR ring, and it was gratifying. If you don't sell it, then... sure, hang at will! I think I had to post that ring twice though, can't recall...

    Hi Bev,
Frame it, please. Remember to leave it to me in your will. Elmer Wheeler was a great uncle to my wife. She was from Londonderry and moved to Perth Amboy in the 1940s.

Whoa doggies -- it has all sorts of "neat" features including the names on it. If I were a veterinarian I would probably be collecting things such as this old dog license.

I see that "Charles" is spelled with the "old" abbreviation of "Chas."

I didn't check for comps, but I bet there would be interested buyers.

I can't see what that license says, but I'd find a lovely old print of an appropriate doggie and frame them together.

    :)

Well, message me your address and it's yours! I grew up moving between Manchester, Londonderry and Derry. My family is all from Manchester, but I was born at Ft. Leavenworth, KS because both parents were in the Army. We returned to Manchester when I was 6 mos. old. I went to kindergarten in Manchester, first and second grades at Grinnell Elementary in Derry, 3rd and part of 4th grade at Londonderry Central, then back to Derry for the rest of my school life. Escaped, I mean moved to Boston when I graduated from high school. Family is still there. I think this is probably something my Dad got when he had his second hand store, so it has no sentimental value.
