    Hi there,

Found this under the floorboards in the house! Can anyone shed any light on whether it has any value? Hoping it will pay for the plastering!

    Really cool find!!

Here in the U.S. lots of banks gave out these as promotional items. The bank often kept the key and you took it into the bank for deposit when it was full. They were fairly common up until the 1960's or so but yours looks much earlier and much better quality than a lot of them you see over here in the states.
