    Hey guys,

Got a few coins here I would love to know more about. I know nothing but they look old and have weight to em and came from the middle east. I wanted to upload more but I'm tired af and these took me a minute to resize.. I wanted to show with as high resolution as possible.

I don't know why my pictures aren't generating a thumbnail. Hope they work.

    Thanks for looking

Dang it, I saved all those pics to my computer to upload, and they still won't show up on here. IDK what you could even tell from the pics; everything is so worn on them.

Ok, I will not be beaten by a darn jpeg file! I snipped/screenshotted all the pictures and resaved them. This better work.

I picked one that looked like it might have something to work with visible showing, but they are pretty rough looking from what's posted! Also I'm NO coin expert, although @daveydempsey might be able to help!!! I rotated 1/4 turn to the right the 4th one down that @tie.dye.cat posted for you....then tried enhancing by contrasting, sharpening, whatever might try to bring out what's barely visible.... can't say I succeeded much, but SOME letters are visible, and it looks like there MAY be an anchor, OR what LOOKS like it may be an anchor at the top.....I can also be WAAAY off base. But lower down, on the same image, it looks like there are some readable letters. The lower image is before I mostly started "fiddling" with my program.

I can't help with those, too worn to see anything identifiable.

After work today I'll see if I can take some shots with he light angle different. Maybe I can get more detail with shadows.

In terms of coin value , condition is very important. It looks like only one has enough left to possible Identify. If you can get your hands on a microscope you might try that and at least get a few more letters. @Aquitaine has done an amazing job with your photos. You might at least figure out if it is greek or roman.

No problem. I don't know why they wouldn't post in the original format; they had the right extension and everything.

Komo- What do you think of this Keris ? AJ says it's Moro & not Javanese-more of a war implement than a spiritual dancing piece-any thoughts ? I was told this was brought back by a Span Am War Vet (but who knows).

The one Aquitaine enhanced is a bronze coin of Alexander the Great of Macedonia (336-323). The last one looks like a coin of a Roman emperor of the 3rd century, Gordianus III, with Moesia on the reverse, struck in Viminacium. I have no idea what the first one is, a wild guess is a Greek coin of Thesslaly
