Featured Old mirror, how old?

There’s a couple small finishing nails in the back that had me second guessing. Maybe they were added later? Maybe it’s just trying to be old? My best guess would be that it’s pretty to very early though. What say ye?

    Is that like the smallest mirror ever? I'm not sure what the hammered brass tacks are for?

    Yes it’s about that size. 8 1/2”

    I've got a walnut folk candle holder about this size with a not dissimilar crest that was made ca. 1870.
