It's a neat looking sign but it's most likely by someone who did this for fun and put their initials on it

It's large and heavy. There was at one time a frame around it but was broken,I had to throw it away.Sea world figures look like they are about to jump off the board, back look like fiberglas

I tagged antidiem because she used to live in that area (and for quite a while I believe.) If we're lucky she might remember such an outlandish sign.

I see the "pi" as "71" which I assume would be the year.

I'd love to see a close-up of the figures on the left... because I'm completely baffled by the toy soldiers on the right. :joyful:

So...three sea creatures dressed up for the opera and one navy type crustacean?

    Interesting.

It might be,I would love to know who the artist is.I's even better in person, very large and heavy.I really was going to talk to my granddaughter to take it to Alanta for an appraisal.

I think it is wonderful, great fun.
I've been looking at pictures of New Orleans seafood restaurant signs, no luck, other than that it is making me hungry. I'm off to get breakfast.;)

I question whether this is a sign and not just art. Don’t think it would hold up outside in New Orleans rains and would get very dirty outside, too hard to clean. What is all the writing on squares at the top? Fish power?

Oh, I assumed it was for inside the restaurant. You know, part of the decor.

I've eaten in places where it would totally work.

Of course, I live in Florida. :hilarious:
