OLD PHOTO / PRINT?

    Here is an old photo in an advertisement from early 20th century. I like the frame. Can anyone tell us anything about it? Note that the corners are tapered. 47199F68-E89F-43DD-B856-F1AD4E305198.jpeg

    Brain Freeze here.....is that what 'they' call a Mission Style frame??? Question directed to those in the know!!!! AND just above there are some posts coming IN!!! SO now I have a good idea....thanks to @blooey !!!

    I'm only finding references to J.T. Legault in the 1930s. Doesn't, of course, mean he wasn't in Belleville before or after.

    You didn't post a close-up photograph of the text. What is written under the photograph?

    4 Bridge St.
    Belleville, Ont
    directly under the photo it says
    “THE FOREST GIANTS” and off to the right
    “Copyright 1911 A. Mill”, but it could also be R. Hill. My sight not as good as it was.

    Photograph is, of course, California's giant redwoods.
