    I have an old collectible serving tray, can someone tell me what's it worth? DSCN5947 - Copy.JPG DSCN5952.JPG DSCN6000.JPG DSCN6003.JPG DSCN5953.JPG

Plated and in not very good condition. Might be a difficult one. And I would think, rather than a serving tray, it might have been a tea tray with matching pieces.

I'm not sure if this is worth anything or not. Worth its weight in scrap copper, for certain. If I ran across it in a yard sale I might mess with the tinfoil and baking soda polishing method and see if I couldn't get it down to the bare copper and have a nice copper tray instead.

A lot of this old plate has real charm, I think, and yours would make a gorgeous fruit platter. Like it :)

I think it depends on where you are.
Here in Northern CA, in a county that grows a lot of grapes and has a lot of wineries, items with grapes do well.

I see mostly tarnish, a little pitting on the back. If the front looks in decent condition, I'd get some Mother's Mag cleaner (automotive section of Walmart).
I'd smear a section (try the back first), let it sit for 10-15 minutes then use a soft cloth (not a t shirt, they scratch - something with lycra works for me) to clean. After cleaning, use Dawn detergent to wash off the residue. Should shine nicely.

Adding you may need a soft toothbrush with the Dawn to get into the crevices. You don't want to leave any polish residue behind.

It looks nice, its something I'd buy if it could fit a teapot and some cups and saucers on. I could use it to serve Victorian afternoon tea.
