Featured Old Street Scene Location

Can’t tell for sure if print or watercolor but wonder if someone can recognize the location?

Could it be an old photograph?

 

This is absolutely, completely a guess!

A bit of Googling determined that there was a "Gardiner Bros Produce" in St Augustine, FL in the 1890's. The fish/oysters/clams sign also might hint at a seaside location.

Wow - do you really think it is St Augustine? Totally a guess, based on the market's name.

p.s. Coincidentally, my Mom moved to St Augustine in 1985. She still owns her house there. I have to say, the place looks NOTHING like this today!

It was once a photograph, now looks like you have a mezzotint print made of it.
