    Hi everyone.

So i have a Jacobean style table. Its held together mostly using wood pegs.

Looks to be hand carved. Everything is slightly different all over the place. Nothing symmetrical or matching.

Ive been told it could be 1920s repro but would it look like this if it was? I would think everything would look the same like it had been machined. Or did they still hand carve them?

There is one metal stump undes 20170730_122644-min.jpg 20170730_161635-min.jpg 20170730_161640-min.jpg 20170730_161725-min.jpg 20170730_115724-min.jpg 20170730_115846-min.jpg one leg but not on the others.

I think if Jacobean..the wooden pegs would stand proud after years of wood shrinkage but they appear to be flush with the wooden surface. I may well be wrong

That happens when you put tables too closely together. Another reason for putting chairs around them.
