I've had this old wardrobe for 10 years that I bought for 20 quid from a junk shop, I really like it, its missing the original draw knobs and the top part. I'm hoping to fully restore it back its original state at some point and build the missing top part.

Does anybody know a rough age to this wardrobe?

I'll let others comment if they can on the age......do you have ANY idea on what the missing TOP part even looks like?? Maybe @Ghopper1924 might have an idea???

Thats ok about the value I wouldn't be selling it plus its very heavy. I'm very happy to hear its Edwardian, it must hold a lot of history. I really like things with age to them even if they are of little value. :)

I have a fair idea of what it would have looked like.

I've seen pictures of wardrobes similar to mine which have the cornice so I'm just going to assume that its the same type, if its too ornate it will be harder to replicate but I would have thought the cornice would have been fairly basic like on the other wardrobes I've seen.
