Anybody any idea where there from and how old the could be ? The seats looks like having a lot off user marks by the wearing off the wooden parts to sit on . So the look old and would be nice to know age and country made ? thanks IMG_1269.JPG IMG_1274.JPG IMG_1273.JPG IMG_1275.JPG IMG_1281.JPG

Old dining/kitchen chairs. With those single plank seats and straight saw marks, would think mid-19th century. First might be beech. Second looks more like ash.

This looks like what Hitchcock did at the top of his chairs.

Agree with Brad mid to late 1800s kitchen chairs. I've always liked those solid plank seats.

    I would have said American.

I would have said American, but that splayed top doesn't seem common.
