Older Canadian porcelain lamp, ID/date please

    I'm assuming it's fairly old as it was a present in the 1970's but not terribly due to plastic plug. I originally thought it was Smith and Stone manufactured but I now think they just made the plug as that is where it says that. It also says Leviton where the bulb goes, but I believe that part was replaced more recently. It appears to have gold leaf patterning and some funky brass cast components. Base appears to be maple. May be glass not porcelain.
    Any information, comments or rough valuation appreciated.

    A lot of Canadian potteries used similar glazes. I doubt that it is porcelain, though that's not impossible. It looks like a vase that has been re-purposed. There may be a maker's mark on the bottom of the ceramic if you take the lamp apart.
