Older German One-Piece Curved Scalpel: Hallmark, Anyone?

    I know this blade pattern has a specific name, but cannot recall what it is. The hallmark, a crown over a what might be a caduceus...but quite modified; Hermes probably wouldn't recognize it. I'm hopeful one of you will, though...and be able to assign a maker to it! Thanks for lookin'!

    Sure LOOKS like a surgical instrument/surgical curette or some such, but couldn't come up with anything closer!!!!

    Wow! The things a fella learns here!!
    So I've got that it's not a makers mark, but denotes ownership by the Crown, as Royal Army Medical Corps.
