All I know is they are Asian. That is about it. What are they? Anyone know? 13217312_1092093910847112_6053693324027015473_o.jpg 13217539_1092093907513779_1610786706610973715_o.jpg

How long will the folded up one be if stretched out?

When wearing a kimono with an obi "belt", the obi is held in place with a cord rather like the way your item looks.

Ok that makes sense cause i also have an obi belt thing with that other piece that (I'm sorry I have no clue what it's called) it's like goes around the belt kind of big and sticks out or puffs out. It came in what appears to be the original bag but it has strings that I assumed tied to keep it on. This must some how all go with that thing.

Thanks so much now I have the correct term to search it out

I asked the owner what is this and his reply was "Heck if I know?" It was all of his mom's stuff from way back. Apparently she collected a lot of Asian items. He said when she died no one else in the family would take the Asian items so he did. He has several nice pieces of Drexel furniture from the 50's that has an Asian theme. Those are coming next month. Thanks again.

Glad to help. I have no idea what the name is of that puffy thing that's worn in back (that's what you mean, right?) Put it altogether as a lot and there you go!

No idea what these are, but there seems to be a stain on the puffy piece marked "250", 2nd photo just beneath the paper label. Just FYI.

Yep. The puffy item is a Obijime. The 250 is the price, 250 Yen.
