One more Egyptian Necklace?

    One more of my Mom's collection. This is 30" long and is pretty heavy from the stone weight. The stones would seem to be turquoise but they are a pretty dark color. No markings of any kind. Thanks much!

    Faience, I suspect. A kind of glazed pottery. Much used in Egypt.

    I would also suspect faience, either ancient or more modern. It continues to be made. Egyptian faience is an early form of glass, rather than a clay-based ceramic.
