    Silver, 8cm long, (little over 3"), illegible hallmarks...
    The box part is small, only about a thimble size.
    @komokwa could it be a Besamim? Resized_image_770662206266732.jpg Resized_image_770688784641790.jpg 20211015_133042.jpg

    The one mark looks sort of like St Petersburg - would that make any sense or am I just seeng things?

    To besamim, or not to besamim, that is the question....

    Could be by the same maker or from the same country (they aren't sure of the origin). Maybe they made one closed, decorative version and one besamim version that opens?

    Sorry - just can't make out anything on the marks, will say that the design, as the the one in the link Komo posted, is typical of Spanish articulated fish - flowers around the eyes, dorsal fins on the head, prominent lips, etc. As to whether is a small besamim, have some doubt...

    Me too! These large articulated fishes don't open, and are generally described as Spanish.
    The small size and the fact it is openable with a compartment made me wonder...
    Thanks!:kiss:
