    Onions and Scorch Marks

    If you still iron clothes and scorch a textile while ironing, try this old trick. Rub a cut onion over the scorch, then soak the cloth in cold water for 1 hour. Rewash and then iron. The spot should be gone.

    Hi Kot,
    When I scorch an item I immediately pour Hydrogen Peroxide over and re iron, no wait.
