Orange Amber Glas Decanter

    I'm not a glassie, but that stopper doesn't look like it belongs with that lovely decanter! Both are gorgeous, but the stopper overpowers the decanter.....just my HO.....

    You may be right because the stopper does not fit quite well.

    Pretty sure it's by Pilgrim, the bottom matches catalog #425, and I think the stopper is for catalog #419. They called the color "Peachblow" and the catalog says it is an "Authentic reproduction of the famous 'Wheeling Peachblow'" There is a catalog reprint in Pina's book "Color Along the River" showing this line.

    The right stopper has a flat top similar to the one on this pinched decanter. #425 as shown in the above referenced catalog page isn't pinched, it is shaped like yours.
