I have an orange background with vivid flower pattern plastic snack tray which is part of a bigger set. It is probably from the 1970s. This has roughly a 4" crack down one side of it. I was wondering should I just break it off and then glue it or try to glue the crack with it still clinging to the tray. When I do glue, what glue would work well on plastic, strong and water resistant. Should I apply pressure using rubber bands. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Rob
