    Hello friends,
    can you help me identify this :D HUGE :D (ironic) oriental jar ?
    Height 15 cm
    Width 7 cm
    On the bottom it is marked with red.

    I agree, Kutani style porcelain, from Japan.
    Gian, did you check Gotheborg for the mark?

    Sorry AJ are you sure it's a mark? Isn't it just the artist's signature? Forgive my ignorance :)
    On Gotheborg I can't find it

    its generic kutani mark you need it turn a quarter turn
    but very carelessly drawn imo

    That is often the same. Kutani marks can be anything, from a maker, a painter, a shop.:)
    Isn't it upside down?
