These two nicely painted pictures of flowers are on silk with a brocade surround. They are in nicely moulded wooded frames.
I tried a translator on the kanji but it only identified “Autumn” on each and the name Yu Geng on one.

    Backs of frames completely plain.

    The frames measure 37.5cm x 27.5 cm

    Any thoughts on their origin?

With that brocade surround, I'd say China.

Given the stylisation of the kanji I'd also say China.
