Orientalist man bowed in prayer - Vienna Bronze

I have several Austrian and German spelter pieces, but this is the only bronze. Had this about 40 years. My searches always find figures in an upright pose with hand raised. I've never seen another in a bowed position.

Anyone encounter or have this pose?

Size: 1" tall, 2.5 x 2.25 overall base

Notice that he has also removed his shoes.

 

Such an appealing size.

don't know if this auction house is trustworthy, but seems okay.
it may be rare because it's thought not very nice to show other people one's arse - in Europe anyways.

yes...that's a Muslim prayer rug he's on !!

 

I have a similar brass figure of a man smoking a pipe sitting on a rug with a small circular attached piece that my mother used as an incense burner. It's at my son's so I can't take a photo right now. I was told my Uncle brought it back from Morocco after WWII
