I'm thinking the purple one might be Czech, but WDIK? I may have even asked about the purple one before; sorry if this is a repost.

I think you are right about the purple one.
The bone one is in the style of Native American hairpipe chokers, but all components are made in India and/or Nepal.
Mind you, Native Americans often use bone beads made in India for their hairpipe chokers.

Thanks AJ. The bone bead necklace has a lot of rust that just won't come off, but I was still very curious about it. Too bad the center wasn't made from sterling.

    You're welcome tie.
I think that is copper coming through, I can see some verdigris.

Agree with both of you on the purple one. If not Czech maybe West German, really nice glass --unusual!

Can't help on the 2nd necklace, but sounds like AJ has it ID'd.

Purple is very pretty, is that satin glass?
    Beautiful spun effect.

the purple one could be French 1920s to 1930s made by a colony of Czechs that fled to the Bordeaux region during WWI from Gablonz. or German after WWII, when the city of Neugablonz was founded for the displaced Germans from the old Gablonz.

It has an older clasp on it, but the other hardware looks newer. So ... maybe later made of earlier components? The Czechs did that early and often after WWII. The bone one is Indian or Nepalese without a doubt.

Agree on the unusual glass...not sure what to call it for a listing.

What looks newer, the bead caps?

The The bead caps and the metal links in the beads. The brass jump rings are pure 30s, looks like. The beads are 30s, most likely.
