Any other classy advertising figures?........I'm looking, but yours reminded me of a line from The Betrothed by Rudyard Kipling........"a woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke."...........no offense ladies.

 

Back when I was smoking a pack a day, that would be a 2 day supply. For some people, probably one day. Can't say that I ever looked particularly elegant.

 

...and I sit here puffing on a Misty menthol, coffee at hand and adoring that couple.

 

Many of us decided to start smoking because it made us feel grown-up, or because we felt smoking projected an aura of sophistication.

I must admit -- Af's little doodad is EXactly what I had in mind. (Just as the Thin Man movies are why I have a small but charming collection of crystal decanters and elegant glasses.)
